With the whole of the West Country within easy reach, great transport links (London is around 3 hours away by car, less by train) it’s the ideal place to get away from Weekend Breaks or a family holiday. The red sandstone cliffs of Orcombe point and nearby Lympstone and Dawlish, are made of the oldest rock found on the World Heritage Jurassic Coast, formed when the South West was a dry desert, still joined to the rest of Europe.

Visit the historic cathedral city of Exeter, only 25 minutes away. Take the train from Exmouth, with stunning views over the Exe Estuary. Explore the glorious woodland of Woodbury Common, or take a short drive to Dartmoor National Park.
